Can anyone recommend a shuttle service from CDG to hotel (1ere arrondissement)? I´ve visited a number of websites (parishuttle, paris-airport-shuttle, paris-blue-airport-shuttle, etc), but can´t make up my mind, since they all look the same and have similar prices. We will be coming from a long overseas trip, thus will have a lot of luggage and a small kid, so we can´t take train or roissybus. Thanks!

Over all our trips to Paris, I%26#39;ve never heard/read of a reliable shuttle from/to CDG. If you peruse this forum, you%26#39;ll find many mixed reviews. I%26#39;m not sure whether shuttles charge for a small child, but a taxi is not that much more, compared to a shuttle, for two people.
The most frequent complaints I%26#39;ve seen about shuttles (in addition to prepaid shuttles not showing up at all) is waiting at the airport for additional passengers, driving all over Paris to drop off others at their hotels, and no one answers the phone number you%26#39;re instructed to call upon arrival (this is what happed to us).

6 of us used PariShuttle and had no problems. They were on time picking us up at the hotel and taking us (and 2 other passengers) direct to our terminal at CDG. I would check out their website at www.parishuttle.com. Please note that other TA posts have mentioned many problems with parisshuttle - double S. PariShuttle - 1 S

I am facing the same problem. I don%26#39;t know whether to trust a shuttle service or take the Air France shuttle into Paris. We will be going to the 17th. Any suggestions out there would be helpful to me as well. Thanks

Thank you all for the posts. This is exactly what I wanted to know - if the shuttle service was to be trusted. Apparently not, so we´ll just go for the cab.
Regarding other questions about transfer experiences from CDG, from my limited experience I can tell roissybus is an excellent service at a reasonable price, if you happen to be travelling alone (max 2 people), and with little luggage - or in case you´re staying at 9eme. I´ve never taken Airfrance shuttle.
All of these are a problem, though, if you´re travelling with a lot of luggage. This is the same with the train, since you´ll have to drag your luggage up and down stairs inside the stations. Very few parisian subway stations have automated staircases, and in most of them you have to climb 2-3 staircases to surface on the street.
And when we left our hotel for the airport, we found out the cab was significantly cheaper to leave Paris, than to get to it! While people report about 50 euros to get to hotel, we spent 30 euros to get to CDG from our hotel near the Opera...
Hope this helps others that access this topic to try to figure out how they´ll get to their hotels from CDG.

I recently used Paris Shuttle 4 individual times on my last trip(s) in and out of Paris and I had absolutely no problems with them at all. They were on time and courteous every time! Good Luck.

JKSouthAmerica, I had the same experience as you, being charged more one way than the other. A regular poster here (I think it was KDSAIL, not sure) explained that there are three or four different fare structures. It depends on the day of the week and the time of day. If it was a Taxi Parisien, you were probably fine.

Make whichever decision you are most comfortable with....but the un-reliability of airport shuttle services is GROSSLY OVER-STATED. The simple FACT of the matter is that THOUSANDS of visitors use these shuttle services every day, without the least bit of difficulty. The shuttles are booked, arrive on time and get their passengers to where they%26#39;re going. Are there OCCASIONAL problems ??..Certainly (as there are with ALL modes of transportation) but these are relatively few and far between.

I have taken a shuttle by booking with viator.com. You will find it on page 14 and it costs a little less than $28 American dollars. I did have to wait a little while for them to show up but it wasn%26#39;t that big of a deal. They usually don%26#39;t have more than 2 or 3 stops. Just relax and enjoy the views of Paris. On the way home I took a different shuttle but I can%26#39;t remember the name. I just went on line and found one which had a cheap price. They picked me up from my apartment very promptly and delivered me to the airport with no problems.
I would take a shuttle again the next time I go to Paris. I think it is a waste of money to pay for a taxi and way too inconvenient to have to drag my suitcase through public transportation.

This shuttle service on the Viator.com website gets rave reviews.

Only one slightly negative one (and that was that the driver didn%26#39;t speak English, but they had no trouble getting to their hotel).
I%26#39;m still trying to decide whether to shuttle or train/taxi train/walk - but if I decide to shuttle I think I%26#39;ll be using this crowd. (For one person they also seem to be cheaper than most).
