post-concert dinner near Madeleine?

We%26#39;ll be attending a classical music concert at Madeleine on Saturday, Nov. 28. We%26#39;d love to have a late dinner after the performance. Can anyone recommend a restaurant in the area? Merci!

Bar L%26#39;Ecluse on Place de la Madeleine. It%26#39;s a wine bar, excellent wine by the glass, but with with very good food.

The Madeleine area is a major area for theatre and concerts, so there are tons of places catering to the %26quot;after%26quot; crowd. In such areas, many restaurant continue taking orders until 1 a.m. (with the hope of closing at 2 a.m. but most of them wouldn%26#39;t dream of kicking you out if you dawdle. They might give you a hint by starting to pile chairs on the other tables, though.)

If you want something elegant, Le Grand Café on Boulevard des Capucines near the Opera, is open 24/7.

Will we need to make a reservation in advance, particularly since it will be a Saturday night? If so, we%26#39;re looking for something moderate in price if possible. Merci!

A Parisienne friend I met through TA and I had dinner at L%26#39;Envue, about a block from the Place de la Madeleine. I love %26quot;tasting%26quot; plates with lots of different tastes, which is their specialty. It is not cheap but I found the prices to be reasonable. It is open to 2 am but last service is 11.30 pm but that should suit any show in the Madeleine

%26quot;Les Toilettes%26quot; downstairs are like something out of Alice Through the Looking Glass - great fun

We like R Cafe which is part of a small hotel the street behind the Madeleine about 4 or 5 doors down from the parking garage. Don%26#39;t know how late they are open though

I second Le Grand Cafe, www.legrandcafe.com. The place is gorgeous, the food is decent, and when I ate there a couple of weeks ago, the servers were really kind and took very good care of me. If you check out their website you will see how beautiful it is.
