Sixt car rental

Has anyone rented from Sixt at CDG? Returned at an office in Paris rather at the airport? Their prices seem much better than other big companies. When you read car rental company reviews on line, they are all full of problems. Trying to avoid that.

We didn%26#39;t rent at CDG but did use Sixt in Avignon. There were no problems and the were reasonable. Hope this helps. Have a good time.

Had a horrible experience with sixt. Still struggling to get our money back. Not worth it.

Thanks for your reply. When we saw the big charges from Sixt for changing your arrival time, cancellation, etc., we decided not to use them. Sounds like it was a good decision, based on your experience. We used Avis and got a good price and it was hassle free.

Hi, David from SixtUK here.

These charges can be avoided by choosing the Sixt flexi-tariff option which allows you to change or cancel your reservation without incurring any additional charges. Feel free to contact us reservations@sixt.com if you have any questions.

I trust the post above from SixtUK won%26#39;t be deleted as inappropriate. It seems to me like a genuine attempt to be helpful. I%26#39;ve seen this happen before (replies not touting for business but explaining something) and suddenly they%26#39;re gone.

It is possible for businesses to get Google alerts which let them know when someone has mentioned their name online. IMHO sometimes a little pro-active participation is not a bad thing.

David-Sixt. We will be staying in the the St. Germaine area in Paris. Does Sixt offer any drop-off service to a hotel? If not, does Sixt have an office anywhere close to this location where I could collect and drop-off the car?

Thanks,Kevin
