Self-catering options in Strasbourg during Xmas Markets?

Husband and I looking for self-catering options in Strasbourg for the Xmas market season. Ideally 11-13 Dec. Any experience with inexpensive, centrally located options? Also OK to consider self-catering in towns between Strasbourg and Colmar.
