Champ de Mars on the RER C

Bir-Hakeim on M6 is also very close

Trocadéro on Lines 6 and 9 is not the closest but IMO is the best station from which to approach the ET as you get a stunning view from across the river. Depending where you are coming from it might also be more convenient than the closer stations.

But for the %26#39;..best..%26#39; try TROCADÉRO Métro (lignes #6 %26amp; #9). You come up to street level on Place du Trocadéro, on the Right Bank...%26#39;behind%26#39; Palais de Chaillot, above the Jardin du Trocadéro water-garden. Walk across to the center stairs between the two %26#39;wings%26#39; of Palais de Chaillot and climb up to the center terrace. The view is %26#39;..GEE WHIZ !!!..%26quot;...every time.

Since you can%26#39;t query the forum for every address in Paris, get a map - StreetWise is a laminated one that will take a dry marker and is pre-folded to make it easy to carry. You can purchase Paris par Arrondissement once you arrive, but you do need a good map for planning, so spring for both.
