Does anyone know of any pastry/desert shops open on Sunday? I think Hermes is shut isn%26#39;t it?

Pierre Herme, the patisserie on rue Bonaparte is open Sundays, closed Mondays. His boutique on Vaugirard is closed Sundays. There is an open bakery in EVERY %26#39;hood, it is mandated by law.

That%26#39;s cool....mandated by law huh?
Those French...they get all those important things right :)

I%26#39;m sure someone can tweek this statement correctly but I read somewhere......
That bread shops are not allowed to go on strike. Everyone else has the right too, but not the bakers.
Someone give the details to this if it%26#39;s true.

Many excellent pastry shops are open on Sunday.
Here are just a few:
Dalloyau, 2 place Edmond Rostand
Gérard Mulot, 76 rue de Seine
Ladurée, 16 rue Royale or 21 rue Bonaparte
Gosselin, 125 rue Saint-Honoré
Stohrer, 51, rue Montorgeuil

We went to Gosselin every single day on our trip this summer. Our apt was a block away and so it was super convenient. Very good!!

No, it is not true.

Does anyone know of any good ones open on rue Cler? Or what about a good place for breakfast on rue Cler and not necessarily on Sunday.
|||
There is also a branch of Gérard Mulot on rue du Pas de la Mule in the 4th and of Dalloyau nearby on blvd. Beaumarchais, both open on Sunday.
|||
Denis Aubrey bakery, on 45 rue Cler.

Paris_praline, that%26#39;s a very useful list of Sunday-open patisseries! Thank you. Have you been to the new Patisserie des Reves? If yes, what did you like there and what time do they open in the morning? Many thanks.
