Switching terminals at Charles de Gaulle International

We will be flying through CDG this week and have a tight plane change. We land at terminal 2E and depart from 2F with about 1 hour between flights. From looking at a map of the terminal it looks like there is a parking structure between the two terminals. Can some one tell me how long it takes to get between terminals and if this is done on foot or by another means of transportation?

The area between terminals 2E and 2F is a %26quot;galerie%26quot; - an enormous %26quot;walkway%26quot;. It%26#39;s not that long a walk between the two.

If you are flying Air France, you can get directions/maps for your connection.

When your flight arrives, be sure to double check the board for your gate number. There are two sections of 2E, the more distant one reached by one minute ride on an electric train.

In my experience, security is swift at 2E (only 20 minutes last trip).

It was about a 10 minute walk for us this September and we arrived with plenty of time to spare. Although we had a 90 minute connection, it woul dhave also been o.k. with one hour.
