Where to stay in Antibes?

Hi,

We are travelling to the Cote D%26#39;Azur from 26th June-11th July 2010 with 2 kids, aged 5 and 7 at time of travel. We are trying to find accommodation to suit the needs of the kids(pool, beach) and ourselves(quaint old town, cobbled streets and local restaurants). We have booked a week at an apartment in Domaine Juan Flore with pool/near the beach etc which will suit the kids for the first week and want to see more of Antibes the second week. We are looking at apartments in La Pleiade(Rue de Lit Militaer), an apartment near Rue D%26#39;Alger, an apartment in Place du Revely and another one in the Port Prestige complex with pool and view of the marina. Was wondering if anyone could tell us how far it is to walk to the old town from La Pleiade/Rue D%26#39;Alger, and if the streets are heavily-trafficked(thinking of our lively 5-year-old). Is it very noisy around the Port Prestige complex due to proximity to the port? If anyone has stayed there, have all the apartments been renovated or only some?
