Hello,
After some research, I came up with our itinerary. We are a part of three and we are arriving Paris on December 26, 2009 and leaving on December 29, 2009. This is a 2 and 1/2 day itinerary that I planned. I hope you can go give me advice if this is possible or is it too much. This will be first time for two of us (me and my sister) in the party and second time for my mom. We are staying at a hotel near Place de Republique.
We are planning to get mobilis passes/ticket jeunes for all these days.
Day 1, Dec. 26, Saturday- Our flight will be arriving at 8:30 am at CDG. So I would expect us probably to be settled in our hotel (after bagga clain, customs, travel time, etc.) around 11:30.
11: 30- 4:00- Eiffel Tower
I will allot 4.5 hours for this as I know the wait is long. I don%26#39;t know if four hours is enough though since is it%26#39;s the holidays?
4:30- 7:30- Montmartre
We plan to see Sacre Coeur and preferable take the Monmartrobus to get a feel of what Montmartre is all about.
Day 2, December 27, 2009, Sunday
We plan to purchase 2-day HOHO bus tickets and also Museum pass.
-Notre Dame Cathedral. We are also planning to climb the tower as it%26#39;s covered with the museum pass. (Are they selling museum passes outside Notre Dame?)
- Orsay Museum
- Rodin Museum
- Army Museum
- Haussmann/Galeries Lafayette/Opera to check Christmas lights in the evening
Day 3 December 28, 2009, Monday
- Louvre
- St. Chappelle
- Orangerie Museum
- Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees in the evening
Let me know if my itinerary sound plausible. And if you have any suggestions which you consider a Must-see or if there is something in my itinerary that you think I should skip. Thank you so much for all your help!!
