I%26#39;ll be in Paris this weekend. I%26#39;ve researched the forum on this and know that Halloween is no biggie in Paris, but the only response in the thread about All Saints Day was deleted.
Will everything be closed (i.e. stores and restaurants)? I was planning to do all of my Parisian shopping (e.g., macarons, chocolat, etc...) or is it limited to things like museums?

stores and restaurants (even museums) will be open on october 31, toussaint or all saints is actually on november 1st .This year the first day of november is a sunday, most stores are closed on sundays, restaurants and museums are open.

Anything that is normally open on Sunday will continue to be open on November 1st.

I saw big posters on the underground inviting people to Disneyworld to see %26#39;Les Halloweeneries%26#39;. I couldn%26#39;t decided whether to be more appalled by the upcoming halloween festivities (personal abhorrence, no criticism of those who like it) or the hideous franglais.
