If anyone requires any specific information re Le Touquet - Hotels, Restaurants, Leisure activities etc.. I have an Apt there and am a frequent visitor and know the town reasonably well and I%26#39;ll try and assist with any query.

Thanks very much for your kind offer.
I understand there is a thalassotherapy centre in Le Touquet. Do you know if it is possible to use any facilities as a non-resident? For instance entry to heated pool etc. for half a day.
All I can find on the Web are offers of 2 day residential packages, not offering exactly what I was after, and only in French - making me nervious about phoning to find out more.

In response to Pamann%26#39;s message:- There are two centres at Le Touquet for Thalossotherapy/Swimming at the Ibis and Novotel Hotels, both situated at the far end of the sea front. Unfortunately the only way you can use them is as a resident of the Hotel or as part of a package deal. Hope this helps.

Would you recommend a bar/night club in Le Touquet
|||
Hey I%26#39;m planning a car club meet and Le Tourquet looks good for lunch.
We are looking to %26#39;take over%26#39; a resturant on a weekday, possibly 30 ish people but need parking for 25+ sports cars it would be good if these were a prominent location perhaps a square or seafront close/next to a resturant
Any ideas.

Message for %26#39;BR%26#39;:- There is a very good value restaurant right on the sea front called %26#39;Tante Isa%26#39; (Tel: 0033 321 0522 55) It%26#39;s cosy and comfortable and could accomodate your numbers (Obviously advisable to book). There%26#39;s plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant and should fit the bill.

For Sharon Livingston:- Apart from the bars that throng the main street, the rue St Jean, and can be very tripperish, I would recommend %26#39;Algy%26#39;s Bar%26#39;in Ave St Jean, on the left, just before you enter the rue St Jean. It%26#39;s a lively local Bar, stays open late and often has live music. Otherwise, %26#39;Touquet%26#39;s Bar%26#39; behind the Westminster Hotel. A bit more upmarket, very comfortable, and again has live music sometimes. For a quieter local bar, try the %26#39;Cafe de la Poste%26#39; (as it implies behind the Post Office) in the rue de Londres. Cosy, local atmosphere and a very friendly proprieter. \last but not least, another good local, but not a lot of atmosphere, %26#39;La Terrasse%26#39; oppposite the Casino. Hope this helps. There are a few night clubs in Le Touquet but I haven%26#39;t sampled them so cannot comment.

May I pick your brains about restaurants? I%26#39;m flying over from Brighton for the day on a Sunday in April with 7 friends (all adults), and we want to have a relaxed lunch somewhere with good food and a bit of character. And any other suggestions would be welcome - such as places to stroll, cafes for coffee, retail therapy and so on. We arrive at 10.30 and leave at 18.00. Many thanks.

that sounds like a great day out. If you have never visited Le Touquet you are in for a treat. There are lots of cafe%26#39;s and resurants to choose from and they are all near close together near the sea front/beach.
It really depends on what you like to eat. Ask Striker it sounds like he knows where the best places are.
Andrew.
