Lille or Reims?

We have a chance for 3 nights away - don%26#39;t know whether to go to Lille or Rheims? Any advice please? Urgently needed asap! Thank you

To me there is no contest. Reims with its stunning cathedral and other fine medieval and renaissance buildings is much more attractive than Lille. It also has several good museums — and of course many of the major champagne producers have a presence in the city.

I would choose Reims. I confess I%26#39;ve never been to Lille, and I%26#39;m assured by people who live there that it%26#39;s a fine place. But Reims is lovey place to visit, has beautiful buildings, such as the Cathdral Notre Dame, where the Kings of France went to be crowned and Basilique St Remi, the oldest church in the city.

Than there are the champagne visits to take ..... and champagne to drink, of course.
