We have narrowed down our choice of Hotels in Bordeaux.
Regency Bordeaux
Hotel Burdigala.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
We like to be City Center.
It will be for a week.

The Regent (I am figuring that you meant that when you typed Regency) and the Burdigala are the two top hotels in Bordeaux city.
Before the Regent opened a year or two ago the Burdigala was the only game in town, despite its less-than-central location. Although just three or four blocks from one of the city%26#39;s main squares, upon leaving the hotel you are faced with the concrete wall of the Meriadeck center, a multi-purpose development that was constructed in the 1970s after an urban development model that was popular at the time.
Whenever I had top-level clients, they usually stayed there, and if your needs are likely to require the services of the concierge (change in travel plans requiring re-ticketing, for example) the service, in my experience, is highly competent.
The Regent is the new kid in town and is situated in the very center of town. In this regard, the Regent has it all over the Burdigala. I%26#39;ve not yet had clients whose requirements have put the concierge to the test, but in all other respects the experience of staying at the hotel seems to be a positive one.

Thank you for the suggestion.
We stayed at the Regent Grand for eight days.
We were upgraded to a Suite.
Not sure why.
My only small complaint, which is personal because I am in the industry is that the Interior Designer should be banished from France.
It is dark, and he thought that heavy curtains should cover all of the windows permanently, and the decor is in general high class whorehouse.
Other than that, everyone on staff were on top of things.
Rooms were cleaned on time, and non intrusive.
Everyone smiled.
Concierge services were very accommodating, and the Breakfast was excellent...Can%26#39;t beat the location either.
Really enjoyed our stay, and would eturn.
We were impressed with Bordeaux as well..
